Terms of Service

MoyeoBom - Smart Building Management

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Bomtobe (hereinafter "the Company") and its members regarding the use of the MoyeoBom service (hereinafter "the Service"), a smart building management platform.

Article 2 (Definitions)

The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows.

  • "Service": Refers to the MoyeoBom smart building management platform and all related services provided by the Company.
  • "Member": Refers to a person who has agreed to these Terms, completed registration, and uses the Service.
  • "Site": Refers to an individual knowledge industry center (building) managed within the Service.
  • "Administrator": Refers to a member who has been granted operational and management authority for a site.
  • "Content": Refers to all information created by members within the Service, including posts, comments, messages, votes, and files.
  • "AI Chatbot": Refers to the AI assistant that provides answers based on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) for building-related information.

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)

  • The Company shall post the contents of these Terms on the Service screen or notify members through other methods.
  • The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that it does not violate applicable laws.
  • When amending the Terms, the Company shall specify the effective date and reasons for amendment and notify members through in-app announcements at least 7 days before the effective date.
  • If a member does not agree to the amended Terms, they may discontinue use of the Service and withdraw their membership.

Article 4 (Service Description)

The services provided by the Company include the following.

  • Announcements & Bulletin Board: Creating and viewing site announcements, sharing information through bulletin boards
  • Community Voting: Creating and participating in votes on major issues within the site
  • Shared Calendar: Managing facility reservations, regular inspections, and community event schedules
  • Messaging: Direct messaging between tenants, administrators, and management
  • AI Chat Assistant: RAG-based building information Q&A
  • Other services that the Company additionally develops or provides through partnerships

Article 5 (Service Usage)

  • The Service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, unless there are special business or technical circumstances.
  • The Company may temporarily suspend the Service due to regular maintenance, emergency repairs, or other reasons, and will provide advance notice in such cases.
  • Members may use the Service free of charge; however, additional fees may apply for certain premium services.

Article 6 (Registration and Account Management)

  • Anyone wishing to use the Service shall apply for membership by filling in the required information in the form prescribed by the Company and agreeing to these Terms.
  • A site code must be entered during registration to specify the affiliated building.
  • Members must ensure that the information provided during registration is accurate and up-to-date, and must promptly update any changes.
  • Members are responsible for safely managing their account credentials (email, password) and may not transfer or lend them to third parties.

Article 7 (Member Obligations)

Members shall not engage in the following activities.

  • Stealing others' personal information or registering false information
  • Activities that violate laws or public morals using the Service
  • Interfering with other members' use of the Service or intentionally disrupting Service operations
  • Using the Service for commercial purposes without prior consent from the Company
  • Other activities that violate applicable laws or usage regulations set by the Company

Article 8 (Company Obligations)

  • The Company shall not engage in activities prohibited by applicable laws and these Terms or contrary to public morals, and shall do its best to provide the Service continuously and reliably.
  • The Company shall establish and comply with a Privacy Policy to protect members' personal information.
  • The Company shall address opinions or complaints raised by members regarding Service usage when deemed legitimate.

Article 9 (Service Suspension and Changes)

  • The Company may restrict or suspend all or part of the Service in the event of force majeure such as natural disasters, emergencies, or system failures.
  • The Company may change the content, operational, or technical aspects of the Service and will provide advance notice through in-app announcements.
  • The Company may modify, suspend, or change all or part of services provided free of charge according to its business policies, and shall not provide separate compensation to members unless otherwise stipulated by applicable laws.

Article 10 (Limitation of Liability)

  • The Company is exempt from liability for Service provision when unable to provide the Service due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure events.
  • The Company is not liable for any Service usage disruptions caused by the member's own fault.
  • The Company is not responsible for any expected profits that members fail to achieve or lose through Service usage.
  • Responses provided by the AI chatbot are for reference only, and the Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of AI responses.

Article 11 (Dispute Resolution)

  • Members may submit their opinions regarding disputes with the Company through the customer center (privacy@bomtobe.com).
  • The Company shall make its best effort to promptly handle complaints submitted by members, and will notify members of the reasons and processing schedule when prompt handling is difficult.

Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  • The laws of the Republic of Korea shall apply to the interpretation of these Terms and disputes between the Company and members.
  • If litigation is filed regarding disputes arising from Service usage, the court having jurisdiction over the Company's headquarters shall be the exclusive court of jurisdiction.
